As HBHA fall sports come to an end we still had an action packed week! This current week in sports, the varsity girls volleyball team played in their tournament on Monday, 10/14. In the winner’s bracket, they placed 3rd after two rigorous games. In this tournament, the games were 2 out 3 sets instead of the regular 3 out of 5.
First round, they played against Daniel Academy, and following the pattern of previous games against them, they lost 1-2. Moving on to the second round, they played against Cristo Ray to determine who placed for third place. Undoubtedly, the girls won 2-0! Junior Gabrielle Sosland and Sophomore Naama Reem were awarded the All-Conference GPAC tournament medal. Including the tournament, the girls ended their season with a 9-4 win-loss.
Varsity boys soccer traveled to Topeka, Kansas to play against Northeast KS Homeschool. Continuing their losing streak, the boys lost 0-3. Up and coming, the varsity boys soccer team will have Senior Night on Oct. 21, against Blue Valley North’s boys D team with a high passion to win for our only soccer senior Noah Bergh. Good luck boys.
HBHA basketball is up and coming, and we are getting ready for a fun season and hopefully a season with plenty of wins.
