March 1, 2024 – The Rams basketball, cross country, volleyball, and boys soccer seasons are all over, but that does not mean that the Rams are letting themselves slip out of shape. Several of the varsity basketball players have been taking steps in the offseason to build their bodies and improve their game. Varsity basketball players are lifting weights, scrimmaging, and even playing other sports to improve their basketball skills.
For example, today sophomore Avital Mullokandova and freshman Naftali Tilove headed down to the gym to play one-on-one, with both aiming to build up their own and each other’s skills on the court. “Just because the season’s over does not mean we still can’t train and work out,” Tilove said after the game. “Avital and I are both dedicated enough to come down and run it, and Teddy (Zitron) and I are going to work out with each other after school three times a week, so it’s all a combined effort from all of us to improve this year so we can come back better than ever next season”
