Last night was a remarkable start to the HBHA basketball season for all teams! The varsity boys took on Ozanam at home in a thrilling matchup, while the varsity girls faced off against Saint Pius X High School. The boys’ game tipped off at 4:30 with an exciting atmosphere as the season’s first game. Ending in an electrifying overtime victory, the Rams won 71-70 after many back-and-forths in leading the score. The girls’ game started at 6:00 pm, showing heart and determination, but unfortunately fell short with a 38-10 loss.
However next week is a promising and exciting action-packed week: Both the varsity boys and girls will play back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday nights, leading up to the highly anticipated Alumni vs. Varsity game on Saturday at 7:15 pm.
