April 4, 2024—Last Night, the Varsity girls played their first game at Whitefield High School in Kansas City. The girls had two scorers last night: Junior Sofia Levine and Senior Sophie Stang, who both scored two points. Unfortunately, the girl’s team lost 4-10 and are now exhausted. The girls learned from their loss and are inspired by it to improve and win the next one. Though this was a loss, the girls are now working harder to win the next game.
Senior Ellie Glickman remarked on the loss, “Last night was a really great start to an exciting season. It was a little hard because of some of the uncertainties about people playing, and it really being our first time playing a formal game altogether. So, I’m excited to see where we go from here.”
