This week, the Junior and Senior classes built trebuchets in Mr. Clauer’s physics class. The students then calculated the amount of energy after each launch. Using the data collected from each launch, the students then did the math to find the potential energy, the gravitational potential energy, and the kinetic energy from the system. The greatest distance achieved was 31 meters! For all his trouble, Mr. Clauer was also pelted with water balloons.
