On patrol in North East Bamyian with Kiwi Team One, performing both mounted and dismounted patrols The NZ PRT Bamyan is tasked with maintaining security in Bamyan Province. It does this by conducting frequent presence patrols throughout the province. The PRT also supports the provincial and local government by providing advice and assistance to the Provincial Governor, the Afghan National Police and district sub-governors. Thirdly the NZ PRT identifies, prepares and provides project management for NZAID projects within the region. These are contracted to Afghan companies who hire local workers to assist with the completion of these projects. Thus each project provides new amenities, and also provides employment in the region.

On Thursday morning, HBHA took a break from classes to attend a school-wide Rosh Hashanah Seder. Led by Rabbi Elizabeth Bonney-Cohen and the Upper School STUCO, students got to enjoy the traditional apples and honey and sing songs. Uriel Noorollah, Cub
Uriel Noorollah is a sophomore at HBHA and will be writing for his first time for RampageWired this year. He was inspired to learn more about journalism after watching the film Shattered Glass. Outside of school, Noorollah enjoys watching movies, playing basketball and soccer, as well as hanging out with friends and family. Noorollah is also involved in Student Council and various Jewish youth groups in the Kansas City area. He is excited to see what is in store for his first year of journalism.

Rhys Pabst is a freshman at Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy. This is his first year on the RampageWired staff. In his free time, Pabst enjoys hanging out with friends and playing hockey for the Kansas City Stars. At school, Pabst is a member of Sources of Strength and is on the Student Council. Pabst is excited to contribute to RampageWired this year!
