Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy seniors partnered with the University Academy (Kansas City, MO) student council to coordinate a candidate forum for upcoming local elections for Kansas City, MO. Communities Creating Opportunities (CCO) is the organization helping the students organize this event. On Wed. Jan 28, University Academy Students traveled to HBHA to participate in ice breaker programs and discuss the viewing of the movie Selma. Students from both schools are ecstatic to be working with one another and helping their community at the same time.
